Inside the south Swedish national park Dalby Söderskog, wild boars (Sus scrofa L.) have been visiting since 2010. The presence of wild boars has earlier been proven to impact both soil and vegetation characteristics, both positively and negatively. Still, there is a lack of knowledge regarding the rooting effect on the vegetation in deciduous forest within the native range. In this study, I have compared the field vegetation collected before and after the invasion of wild boars in 74 permanent experimental plots. More specifically, the study aimed to qualify the effect of wild boar rooting on cover ratio, species richness and species composition in a temperate deciduous forest.

In the Swedish author, poet and critic Hanna Nordenhöks (1977-) novels Promenaderna iDalbyhage (2011) and Det vita huset i Simpang (2013) the literary characters are often portrayed asdiffuse shapes with a subtile closeness to other organic bodies, places and times. While the novelsaddress themes such as colonialism and subjects becoming, they also explore the act of narratingthrough letters, journals, photographs and, in particular, fabrication. What emerge are two aesthetic,literary works that, on different levels, trouble our notion of borders between human and more-thanhumanbodies, an issue that?s essential for our understanding of human - environmentalrelationship.The purpose of this thesis is to show how the prose of Nordenhök can be read in the light of theterm porosity, where matter is understood as elastic and open for both creating and de-creatinginteractions. I will argue that the novels contribute to a deepened understanding of the relationshipbetween human subjects and more-than-human matter as elastic, and that they incorporate thisdynamic porosity within the narration itself.

This essay is about a deserted medieval habitation called Skyttsie Hage which is located in the south of Sweden in the Scania province where it lies on a moor on the Falsterbopeninsula. Remains of five to six larger buildings have been found here with a surrounding earthwork, although it's not known for sure what kind of habitation they have been part of. Local folklore from the 17:th century states the area as a place where pirates lived, and that this was the reason for it's devastation. Another says that there once stood a breedingfarm belonging to the danish crown. Archaeologists have made several speculations which includes a deer park, a royal estate, an isolated farm or a smaller village.

Nordstrand Sara (2008). Den fria lekens betydelse inom förskolan. The meaning of free play within prescool. Skolutveckling och ledareskap, 90 högskolepoäng, Lärareutbildningen, Malmö högskola. Syftet med mitt arbete är att undersöka den fria lekens betydelse och se likheter och skillnader mellan två förskolor och förskolelärare som arbetar där och deras syn på den fria leken. I studien har jag valt att göra fyra djupintervjuer med fyra förskolelärare på två olika förskolor. Hagens förskola i Dalby och Pilängens förskola i Limhamn.

Syftet med det här arbetet är att göra fyra gestaltningsförslag till BoKloks bostadsgårdar eller som BoKlok själva kallar dem, trivselytor. BoKlok är ett samarbete mellan IKEA och Skanska där idén är att skapa bra, yteffektiva och funktionella bostäder till en låg kostnad. Då trivselytan i sitt grundutförande endast är utformad med en gräsmatta, en stenmjölsgång och ett äppelträd fanns önskemål från BoKlok att vidareutveckla denna utifrån deras grundtankar och koncept. Målet är att förslagen ska inspirera och uppmuntra BoKloks flerfamiljsboende till att omskapa sin gård och anlägga något av förslagen.De två husmodellerna, Älmhult och Göteborg har satt grunden för de olika förslagen. Älmhultshuset är av en traditionell stil och Göteborgshuset av en mer modern.

Neighbourhood offices were established in the municipal of Lund by a decision in the municipal council 1999. During following years four offices opened in the surrounding villages; Veberöd, Genarp, Södra Sandby and Dalby. By using a goal oriented model and making interviews I study whether the offices reaches the goals of more effective service, developed IT-support, a stronger local democracy and a better feeling for service. The offices has improved the information to the citizens and efforts have been made to strengthen the local democracy but more complex matters can not be handled at the offices today, which is a disappointment for many involved.To explain the result of the evaluation I use Vedungs ?A general theory of public efforts result?.

Syftet med detta arbete är att kunna ge Alnarpsfakulteten och Akademiska Hus ett genomtänkt förslag som visar hur Alnarpslunden kan styras och formas framöver utifrån olika överväganden. Hur ska vi tackla situationen med almarnas snabba reträtt från Alnarpslunden? Arbetet bygger dels på ett antal Alnarpsexperters tankar om lunden och dess framtid och dels på mina egna studier av lundinriktad litteratur, äldre Alnarpsbeskrivningar och av Alnarpslundens nuvarande uppbyggnad, status och framtidspotential. Arbetet består av tre delar: Del 1 Några huvuddrag ur Alnarpslundens historia Första delen delar i sin tur in Alnarpslundens historia i fyra skeden från islossning till nutid. Skede 1 Från inlandsis till bosättning Marken koloniseras av träd och växter för att tusentals år senare glesas ut av både människan och stora gräsätare. Skede 2 Från den första gårdsetableringen till tiden som svensk kungsgård Så småningom ingick troligen den nuvarande lunden i ett halvöppet skogs- och beteslandskap. Tack vare att Alnarps skog har legat på mäktiga mäns ägor har den skonats från systematisk skövling. Skogens uppgift var att försörja de närbelägna byarna med ved och virke. Skede 3 Från Lantbruksinstitutet till Lantbruksuniversitet I och med Alnarps landtbruksinstituts grundande urholkades skogen till en omkringliggande och skyddande krans till parken som kom att anläggas här. Skede 4 Alnarp som ?landskapslaboratorium? De sista 30 åren har ytan trädbeklädd mark på Alnarp vuxit och lunden kan ses som en viktig komponent med lång träd- skogs- och örtkontinuitet till Alnarps landskapslaboratorium. Del 2 Alnarpslunden idag Del två beskriver lundens användning ur olika perspektiv både inom och utom SLUs verksamhet.

This is a 20 credit Master thesis within the landscape architecture education at the Institute for Landscape Planning at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences at Alnarp. Norränga is situated on the fringe of the city of Lund, east of the existing district of Linero.The city planning office of Lund municipality has come up with a ?in-depth comprehensive plan? for the exploatation of the eastern area of Lund. The plan concerns an area of 1035 square kilometre which contains at least 1500 nya buildings, two schools, primaryschools, stores and bus station for local bus traffic and the new bus line - Lundalänken. The townplan is inspired from the historical Square block city with defined street system. The municipality has visions of what the green areas should consist of.
